Shen Hong Recruitment is a mercenary recruitment quest chain offered by NPC Shen Hong to recruit Trainee Shen Hong. The objectives focus on obtaining quest items and killing mobs in the Mantle of Darkness dungeon.
This quest has mobs of a much higher level than the quest requirement suggests. It's recommended to either do this quest with another player or grind a few levels (around 145 - 150) before going alone. Feasts and titles can also be very helpful.
This quest can be reset by trading [Secrets of Time: Shen Hong Recruitment]×1 with NPC Hui Chao or by choosing 'Reset' on the quest menu (Alt+L). Currently, the Market doesn't register said item for sale, so players will have to buy it from other players or craft it themselves.

- As mentioned above, Shen Hong's Mutated Father may not always spawn in his assigned spot. This may be a product of the current bug that makes mobs stop spawning at random times. If this happens, simply wait and scout the map carefully or come back at a later time, as currently there's no solution to this problem.
