1.Purchasing a Home[]

I'll tell you everything you need to know to decorate your home, so please listen carefully. ~ Well, now, first thing's first. Let's get you a home. You can purchase a home from Caitsith at the entrance to the My Home Bazaar. Please buy a home you like from him.

2.Furniture on Display[]
Have you seen the inside of your home? It probably feels empty because there's no furniture. Why don't we do some decoration? You don't have any? Don't worry. When you purchase a home, basic furniture is provided. ~ When you enter your home, the minimap is replaced by a button that looks like a blue house. That button is the My Home Menu, with lets you manage your home. You can place your furniture through My Home Menu > Decorate. Why don't you go to your home and place some furniture?

How did it go? Isn't that better? Your home's Culture and Comfort will increase if you place nice furniture. The Total Value of the home is estimated according to Culture and Comfort, and you will receive better Buffs depending on the Total Value. You can receive better furniture and decor through employees' crafting.

3.Redecoration[]
By the way... Are you happy with how your furniture is placed? Did anything get placed at an odd angle, or perhaps you want to move something a little to the left? That's right... You might want to redecorate to change the atmosphere of your home or when you get new furniture. ~ When you want to redecorate, click on My Home Menu > Decorate so that you can Decorate. Or if you right-click on furniture in your home while in Decorate mode, you will see a drop-down menu. If you click on Rearrange in that menu, you can change the location of the furniture. Why don't you give it a try?

4.Retrieving Furniture[]
Let me teach you how to return placed furniture to the Furnishing Warehouse. Perhaps you already noticed it while you were decorating. ~ Okay, why don't you Decorate like before? If you right click on a piece of furniture, you'll see the drop-down menu. Choose Retrieve, and the selected furniture will be sent back to the Furnishing Warehouse. Can you go to your home and try retrieving a piece of furniture?

5.Use the Furnishing Warehouse[]
Oh, I forgot to tell you about the Furnishing Warehouse. As you have seen while you were Decorating, you can only place furniture or decor that's in the Furnishing Warehouse. So, if you have any new pieces of furniture or decor, please store them in the [Furnishing Warehouse] before you decorate. ~ Then shall we place some furniture in the Furnishing Warehouse? Please click on My Home Menu >Furnishing Warehouse. Select the furniture in your inventory and press Store Item. The selected furniture will be stored in the [Furnishing Warehouse]. So, would you like to try it out?
(You can use [Retrieve Item] in the [Furnishing Warehouse] to take an item out and put it back in with [Store Item].)

6.The Furniture Store[]

7.About Decor[]
In addition to furniture, you can also fill your house with all kinds of Decor. You can place them on the floor or put them on furniture. You can also hang them on the wall. 8.Store Items[]
You have a Sideboard or Side Table, don't you? You can store items in this type of furniture. Please try to store an item in your sideboard. ~ If you right-click on a sideboard or side table placed in your home, you will see the Open Furniture option. If you choose it, you can select any item in your inventory and Store Item. Why don't you try it?

If you ever feel that your inventory is too full, stow away extra items in your home's storage space. It's a nice place to keep items you don't use often. However, remember that you can't store furniture that's holding items in your furnishing warehouse without emptying them out first.

9.Rest at Home[]
Now that your home is nice and decorated, why don't you try relaxing there? You can relax on a Chair or Sofa placed in your home. ~ The Sit Down option will pop up when you right-click on a chair. Of course, you can always sit by simply left-clicking on a chair. Why don't you take a moment to rest?

10.Rest[]
Now, why don't you try lying in Bed? After a wink of sleep in a good bed, you'll feel energized. Sleeping when you're tired is the best remedy for any ailment. ~ When you lie in bed, you can Rest. You can lie down either by right-clicking on a bed, and choosing Lie Down, or simply left-clicking on the bed. Please rest fully and check on your Buff Info in the Character Info window.

11.Host a Feast[]
Now let me tell you how to enjoy your home with your friends. That is, how to host a party! We call it a Feast here in My Home. Then, shall we look into how to hold a feast? ~ In order for you to hold a feast... First of all, you need to employ a Chef and have a Dinner Table. When you are ready, please use a Feast, and have a good time!

12.Fun Transformation[]
Did you taste the food on the Dinner Table by right-clicking on it? After eating, you might have noticed you were transformed into a cute critter. You can take several actions to get into the spirit of the party while in that form. ~ While you're transformed, you can perform some cute actions if you press J, K, or L. Please attend a feast and try it out.

13.Attend a Feast[]
Now shall we go out to see how others' [Feasts] are? You can get a feast buff by attending someone else's [Feast] and eating their food. If you want to visit your close friend's house, you can click on Visit after right-clicking on them. Now, would you like to attend a feast hosted by another and try to eat food there?

14.Pretty Wallpaper[]

You should take care in decorating the walls and floors nicely, so that your furniture and decor looks even better. ~ First of all, shall we put up some Wallpaper? However, you must remember that you can decorate only one wall with a piece of wallpaper and you cannot retrieve or rearrange wallpaper once it's put up. And don't forget to put the wallpaper in your Furnishing Warehouse when you want to use it! (You can have an artisan employee craft the wallpaper through Finish crafting or purchase it at the market.)

15.Pretty Floor[]

Just like wallpaper, you can decorate the floor of one room with one piece of finish, and you should remember that you cannot retrieve or rearrange it once it's put down.
