NPC for the Holy Warrior's Soul quest.

Quest - Holy Warrior's Soul

1. Urgent Situation

Oh! Lucky! Traveler! Help!

~

My friends and I were attacked by Savages I'll explain later. For now, please help us fend off the Savages

Mission: Kill Enraged Savage x3

~

Phew, now I can breathe a little easier. Oh my, I forgot we just met. I'm sorry. I don't know why, but they seem to attack without any reason. If it was just one or two, I'd handle them myself. But against a group... I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Since you took care of them, I guess my friends can take it easy now. Thank you so much.

Reward:

  • Experience: 4,250,000
  • Gold: 3,250,000

2. The Inn Owner's Name

Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. Call me Boorchu. I'm here under orders to investigate that big saloon over there, but after that attack I'm pretty defenseless. I was supposed to stay at the saloon under the guise of an innocent traveler, but instead of being welcomed warmly by the saloon's owner, I was surrounded by evil monsters. I think I need to take some time to regroup.

~

I'm sure you've heard of the saloon. It's one of the famous landmarks around here. Do you happen to know who the Owner of the Saloon is? HINT: (The answer is five letters long.)

Mission: Yayul

~

Yayul, eh? Huh. I've heard that name before. He is half-Mongolian and half-Jurchen, and he used to be a very famous martial artist in Central Asia. He's famous for his martial prowess amongst the masters of the Wulin world. Among we Mongolians, he's known for his friendly relationship with the nomadic tribes. I heard long ago that he returned to his hometown. I guess he's been managing this saloon since then. All the same, I would never have guessed he'd find trouble so easily... There's no way someone like him would fall to the likes of those monsters. He's probably hiding out somewhere. I wish I could help him, but I've got my own troubles to worry about...

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000

3. Story That Can't Be Told

Let me tell you some more of the local lore, since you helped me out. Have you ever heard of a suspicious monster called Chung Rang? Huh? Never? Of course, he used to terrorize the local nomad tribes, but I could see why a foreigner wouldn't have heard of him. Ching Rang is a monster who takes the form of the great gray wolf that we Mongolians worship. When we heard about the great grey wolf, whom we revere as our ancestor and spiritual ally, we assumed it was a sign of good fortunes to come. However, the monster didn't welcome our worship. Instead, it fooled strong nomad warriors into engaging in mad wars, and murdered children and the elderly wherever it found them. Our Lord found it odd and ordered an investigation. I was tracking Chung Rang and found evidence that an evil and powerful group called the Diabolists were involved. I ended up following them all the way out here. At first, I had assumed I'd find them mingling with the martial artists who frequent the saloon here. Now I can see the saloon is completely occupied by the Diabolists.

~

Hmm, all this talking is making me thirsty. Will you share a cup of Airak with me?

Mission: Use Airak x1

~

From what I've seen so far, I'd say you're quite the accomplished martial artist. But judging from your clothing, I'd say you're a stranger to the Wulin world. You probably don't have any enemies here... You must be a traveler from a faraway place. You might be just the person I'm looking for. I could use the help of a highly-skilled stranger like yourself. All of the nomad tribes, including the Mongolians, cannot fight Chung Rang. I don't know what kind of power he possesses, but for some reason, we become helpless in front of that monster. Moreover, we're in no place to ask for help from the masters of Wulin. Most of them see us as savage tribes on the outskirts of civilization. It's not easy for us to ask them to kill Chung Rang, who looks like the gray wolf that we worship. Hmph. I'll never forgive the Diabolists, who put us in this situation.

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000

4. Not Just Anybody

I've been preoccupied with what Kahn, the great ruler of our lands, had in mind. The Lord ordered us to find someone strong. Someone who wasn't a Wulin master who would look down his nose at us, and someone who wasn't from one of the nomadic tribes. It's up to us to take this person and make them into a warrior capable of taking on Chung Rang.

~

Even though I, Boorchu, am a sworn brother to both my lord and his loyal follower Jelme, I don not have much skill in the martial arts. Yet, we are the two closest people to our lord, and we helped him become a great warrior. If you are willing to help us, I can help you become an equally powerful warrior. Bring me a bunch of Multi-Hued Jewels. I'll prepare the training.

Mission: Multi-Hued Jewel x30

~

Fine. I'll take this precious treasure as evidence of the vow between you and us. On top of that, I'll use this rare treasure to create a special item for you.

Reward:

  • Experience: 6,250,000
  • Gold: 2,750,000

5. Loyal Right Hand

First of all, you need to move beyond your current ability. Once you do that, you'll be able to break free from your shell, acquire incredible techniques and advance tremendously. My job will be to help you break that shell and be reborn. Your job is to develop your martial arts after that.

~

Hmm, I've wasted too much time chattering away. I'll introduce you to my friend Jelme. He's probably resting from the previous attack. However, Jelme is cautious like a wild horse, so if you visit him unannounced, he won't give you a moment of his time. You have to bring this Letter with you. He will tell you what you should do from now on.

Mission: Investigation on the Diabolists' Loot from Jelme

~

Welcome back. I see you've experienced the spirit of the Mongolians, who rule the vast plains. Please keep on helping us like this. We will do everything we can to help you be reborn. Great warriors like Kahn must have a sworn brother and a loyal right hand to accomplish their will. You can also consider me, Boorchu, as your sworn brother, and Jelme as your right hand. Please be at ease.

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000

6. Swift Sealing

Anyway, if what Jelme said is true, it's very troubling news. It's hard to believe that so many of our treasures were stolen. I'm worried about Jelme, who is like a violent wild horse. I don't know what he'll do as he learns more and more about the Diabolists' despicable acts. I hope he'll remember the days when he was at our lord's side, and react calmly. Alright, lt's start doing something about Chung Rang. While you were gone, I've been gathering more information about our prey. Based on what I've learned so far, it's evident that he is staying here, and is controlled by the Diabolists. However, I have no clue why he looks like the great wolf, or why we Mongolians are helpless when faced with him. First of all, we should do something about the fact that the Diabolists are controlling him.

~

I hear that the Monks among the Diabolists use dangerous, evil magic. If you find any books containing techniques to control monsters, please gather as many as possible.

Mission: Evil Seal Scroll x15

~

Thanks. I'll learn the methods they use to control monsters and find some countermeasures we can use against them. This should at least prevent any further damage until we confront Chung Rang.

Reward:

  • Experience: 5,000,000
  • Gold: 2,550,000
  • Scroll of Purification x50

7. Stolen Holy Place

Oh... while you were gone, Jelme sent me some very shocking news. The Diabolists' violence is a lot worse than we had thought. I never imagined they would go this far...

~

I think you should read Theft of the Secret Palace for yourself. Please return it to me as soon as you finish reading it.

Mission: Read Theft of the Secret Palace

~

Ha. Ha. Ha. Not only have they taken our arrows. Not only have they stolen our horses. Now they defile our holy place? That place is hidden so well that even we can't get close to it, and its mysterious power is resolutely protected by the guardians... I can't begin to comprehend the wickedness of the Diabolists or their unfathomable power. Were it not for Chung Rang's power, the Lord would have led our elite soldiers and come down to mop up the Diabolists himself. It's suck a ridiculously preposterous and upsetting event.

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000
  • Base II Pass x2

8. Unforgivable Diabolists

According to the records, Chung Rang must possess the power of Borte Chino, our founding father. That must be the reason why we're helpless to fight it. How can we fight our own ancestor? Unforgivable. Unforgivable! Our holy place has been taken away, and the souls of our ancestors attacked... Tch! If I could, I would slay them all myself, but for now I have to rely on you. I'll do everything in my power to help you become an invincible warrior. So please defeat them! ... after reading more of these records, I was able to roughly understand what the Diabolists did, how Chung Rang was created, and how he was controlled.

~

First of all, you need to defeat the Diabolic Guardmaster, one of those who opened the way for Chung Rang. Kill him first and take the Chung Rang Seal Scroll from him. He's staying at the Diabolic Base II

Mission: Chung Rang Seal Scroll x1

~

Good job! Without this, they can no longer control Chung Rang. Even with all the power of the Diabolists, if they loose control of the monster there won't be anything they can do to stop you.

Reward:

  • Experience: 10,000,000
  • Gold: 6,250,000
  • Stimulant V x5

9. More Calmly When It's Urgent

Hmm... It's written here that Chung Rang is waiting for his next command in the Vil King's Sealed Room somewhere in the saloon right now. Great! Now that we know where he is, we need to attack him to find a way to rescue our ancestor's souls.

~

Come on. Go to see Jelme and give him this Secret Letter. While I'm searching for a way to liberate Borte Chino, please rescue Qoai Maral, our foremother, with Jelme. Please don't forget to remind Jelme that he needs to be calmer in times like these.

Mission: Khan's Stone Vase x1

~

Huh, what is this? Oh! God! Oh, I never thought I'd see our kind foremother Qoai Maral in such a barren and dangerous place. It's good enough to see you return safely. You are truly a great savior and hero to the Mongolian people! May our foremother Qoai Maral grant you profound and generous blessings!

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000

10. Wrestling

Now we only have to rescue Borte Chino. Since you have Qoai Maral's blessings, I hope you are also blessed by Borte Chino. Maybe you will get more precious blessings than the Kahns who have existed so far. I would like to give you the true honor of Kahn now. There is no other honor that can be compared to this.

~

I need to give you one test to before I do so. In that saloon, powerful Diabolic Instructors are walking around, disguising themselves as Diabolic Guardians. Aside from archery and horsemanship, we Mongolians are renowned for our wrestling arts. Please display your power by defeating them quickly.

Mission: Kill Diabolic Instructor x3

~

I knew you'd be great.

Reward:

  • Experience: 4,250,000
  • Gold: 3,250,000
  • Ringleader's Room Key x3

11. The True Identity of Chung Rang

I just received Jelme's report. He said Qoai Maral was able to communicate with us clearly thanks to you. My assistance from now one will be based on Qoai Maral's advice.

~

First of all, I want you to read this. It's a precious piece of advice from Qoai Maral

Mission: Read True Identity of Chung Rang

~

I hear our pure ancestor's souls always talk like that. It's not much different from what Jelme and I were expecting. Moreover, one relieving fact is that Chung Rang is not in its true form but rather is the false disguise of a vile serpent. Anyway, now that we know their true identity and what we should do in the future is clear, we need to proceed in a hurry.

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000
  • Nether King's Annex Pass x3

12. Rank as High as the Lord

According to Qoai Maral, Borte Chino, who is inside of Chung Rang - no, Noshi - is so mad that it's not only impossible to control him but also to communicate with him. I hear the Diabolists have been thrown into chaos since Chung Rang is losing himself and lashing out. However, if you approach Noshi in the name and spirit of the Kahn, it will lose some of its power and Borte Chino will answer, she said. First of all, find the treasures that have the ability to decrease its power. I hear they are hidden in places where the Diabolists' influences reach secretly.

~

The treasures are the Tiger Mask and Diabolic Crown. Qoai Maral believes that you will be able to figure out where to find them. Please make the Assault Mask with those treasures. HINT: (My Info -> Skills -> Quest Crafting. You can acquire the Tiger Mask from Tiger Lord in the Evil Ringleader's Room in Lijiang Women's Village, and the Diabolic Crown from Nether Prince in the Nether King's Annex in Jiuzhaigou Ghost Town).

Mission: Assault Mask x1

~

Hmm. Even though they are treasures the Diabolists already touched, they seem to regain their strong spirit after you handle them. This is strength that is by no means inferior to Kahn's

Reward:

  • Experience: 8,750,000
  • Gold: 8,500,000
  • Growth Vial x5

13. Luck Is Also Your Ability

I don't think it was just a coincidence that you met us, helped us, got recognized by our Ancestor's Souls and received a position as high as the great Kahn. You shouldn't ignore the fact that you have excellent skills, huge ambition, and the luck to meet us.

~

I heard that there's a way to test one's luck and receive experience in the far west. I remember it is a some kind of Box. It is a little expensive, but you can test how lucky you are. HINT: (You can purchase a Medici's Platinum Box from Medici at the Bazar in Rome).

Mission: Use Medici's Platinum Box x1

~

I'm glad you're back. No matter what result you got, I believe it would be a precious experience to you.

Reward:

  • Experience: 725,000
  • Gold: 2,575,000

14. In the Name of the Lord

Now I'll lend the name and spirit of Kahn to you, you who have acquired spirit equal to that of Kahn. You should approach Borte Chino in the name of Kahn if you want to see him. Originally, I was going to make you reborn as a warrior as great as Kahn by wrapping this around you at the end, but I guess it'd be a simple ceremony to someone who has received the blessings of the ancestors' souls.

~

Okay, try on this Golden Belt, one of Kahn's symbols, and return it to me. This is the extent of my ability to help you.

Mission: Use Khan's Golden Belt x1

~

You might not feel anything right away. However, you just acquired the title of Kahn. Of course, it's only temporary until you rescue Borte Chino, since you are not Mongolian.

Reward:

  • Experience: 500,000
  • Gold: 750,000

15. Return of Holy Ancestor's Souls II

Alright, the only thing left to do is to rescue Borte Chino from Noshi, who disguises itself as Chung Rang. Chung Rang will lose his power for a moment if you get close to him. Tht's your chance to defeat him. Don't miss it. After that, you only have to receive blessings from Borte Chino and be reborn as a great warrior.

~

Hurry up and go to the Evil King's Sealed Room. Go defeat Noshi and rescue Borte Chino, the forefather of the Mongolians.

Mission: Borte Chino's Soul x1

~

Oh, Borte Chino! You have returned safely. Thank you for all the trouble you went hrough. Finally, it's over. We're in your debt. Were you yourself Mongolian, you would be given the little of Kahn. There's nothing more I can do to help you. You were assisted by Jelme, one of Kahn's 4 closest warriors, and me, Boorchu, one of the 4 great generals. You have also received protection and blessings from the Mongolian founders, Borte Chino and Qoai maral. You are ready to be born again. Please use this Holy Warrior's Soul Stone once you are ready. You will grow to become as great - no, greater than Kahn by then. Goodbye!

Reward:

  • Experience: 19,500,000
  • Gold: 21,750,000
  • Holy Warrior's Soul Stone x1
