Quest - Atlantis Edit

1.Antillia Edit

Are you well? I am relieved to see you here. My connection with mother Eve was severed some time ago. I was worried that you and the other Atlantians had failed to come out of your stasis. ~ Do you find this city aesthetically pleasing? This is Antillia. Mother Eve created it from the remainders of her undamaged memory banks. It is a haven of beauty and prosperity, just as Atlantis once was. The world has changed quite a bit since you were put to sleep. Press the M key if you would like to get a look at how much.

Mission: Open Game Info > World Map

~

How does it feel to see the world change in the blink of an eye? I am truly curious. I've given you several Spirit Weapon Boxes to protect yourself. It will be waiting for you in your inventory.

Reward:

  • Experience: 50
  • Gold: 10,000
  • Item: Spirit Weapon Box x3

2.All Work and No Play Edit

Are you struggling with your memories still? Everything will come with time. But now, there are more pressing matters. Antillia is safe from Riederan's grasp, but the androids stationed outside have malfunctioned and gone berserk. So long as they are out there, we are trapped within the city walls. It would be beneficial for both of us if you were to dismantle these Malfunctioning Androids. ~ You defeated the androids readily enough, but I doubt you are any match for Riederan. I suggest you arm your mercenaries with the gear from this Equipment Box.

Mission: Kill Malfunctioning Android x5

The powers of Atlantis dwell within you.

Reward:

  • Experience: 100
  • Gold: 6,000
  • Item: Divine Draught x10

3.Comrades of Old Edit

Mother Eve programmed me with the primary desire to protect and serve the Atlantian legacy. I am sure that you will soon grow to meet my expectations. ~ An automaton named Neti has been programmed to secure new mercenaries. In exchange for their freedom and a small stipend, these mercenaries have agreed to work for you. I suggest you find Neti now and hire one of these mercenaries. Alternatively, you may continue to rely on the personal guards I have assigned to you.

Mission: Party Size 4

~

Neti is but one of many avenues through which you may acquire mercenaries. Your personal guard may suit you now, but someday you may wish to acquire more specialized soldiers.

Reward:

  • Experience: 100
  • Gold: 5,000

4.Tactical Decision Making Edit

No commander can succeed on the battlefield without a keen eye for formation. ~ Your followers, no matter how skilled they may be, will only falter and fail if they are not able to use their attacks efficiently. Every soldier you encounter will have a different preferred formation position. Press Alt+F and organize them for maximum efficiency.

Mission: Change battle formation in My Info > Formation

~

Keep an eye on your troops at all times. I find that organic life tends to be rather disorganized without constant direction.

Reward:

  • Experience: 100
  • Gold: 5,000

5.Town Functions Edit

The powers of your people are boundless, but you have not realized them yet. ~ Relying on your potential will only result in the destruction of your rather fragile body, which I am told will result in your permanent end. I have heard of an item to cope with this deficiency in your design. It is called a Life Potion. I would recommend you go purchase one from the Hospital in town. (Press the Town Info button on the left-hand side of screen while in town, then click on Hospital. You can look up items under the Buy tab.)

Mission: Buy at Hospital Life Potion [I] x1

~

Those potions should save you and your followers from a number of dire situations. While you're buying things, perhaps you'd like to invest in some more battle-worthy clothes as well...

Reward:

  • Experience: 200
  • Gold: 3,000
  • Item: Life Potion [I] x20

6.Out of Control Edit

I am not convinced that you are prepared to fight Riederan's forces, but we are out of time. We must take more drastic countermeasures against the androids that have surrounded the city. ~ As loathsome as it is to see my android kin destroyed by an organic, it must be done. Destroy the Malfunctioning Androids and Broken Patrol Droids and retrieve their Android Chip Sets. I can use their chips to reprogram the other androids.

Mission: Battle Robot Chipset x10

I will begin analysis of the Android Chip Sets. I've given you more weapon boxes as well. They might serve to protect your fleshy form.

Reward:

  • Experience: 300
  • Gold: 4,000
  • Item: Spirit Weapon Box x3

7.Next, Gen! Edit

Analysis complete. The unit designated Gen is responsible for reprogramming the other androids. ~ Its personality has infected nearby units with a startling number of self-destructive routines. Patrol Robot Gen must be destroyed. It is most likely attempting to hide itself in a crowd of similar units, across the bridge out of Antillia.

Mission: Kill Patrol Droid Gen x1

Destruction confirmed. Good riddance to that chaff.

Reward:

  • Experience: 400
  • Gold: 3,000

8.A Clue Edit

A review of the recent network activity from Gen shows some very strange behavior. It seems to be linked to patrols in the southern regions... ~ One of my sisters, Alice, is stationed at the Dreaming Path Outpost to the south. Assist her in her investigation. Be forewarned: The further my sisters wander from Antillia, the more disconnected they become from mother Eve. It is likely that Alice lacks my pleasing personality traits.

Mission: Talk to Alice

~

What did you find?

Reward:

  • Experience: 200
  • Gold: 2,000
  • Item: Enchant Stone [I] x10

9.Dangerous Battlefield Edit

You have seen much since we last interfaced. Riederan's influence seemingly has no bounds. ~ I fear that your current arsenal may yet be insufficient to face Riederan's power. Please see to it that you and your mercenaries are properly armed.

Mission: Equip Weapon x5

~

That is acceptable for now.

Reward:

  • Experience: 8,000
  • Gold: 70,000
  • Item: Enchant Stone [I] x20

10.Powerful Tools Edit

You should not be so quick to settle for your current abilities. You could upgrade your functions with a few slight adjustments... ~ For instance, you could get better weaponry by using Enchant Stones. If you have two pieces of identical equipment, you can Enchant to create one piece of superior equipment.

Mission: Enchant Any Item

~

Enchantments will play an important role in your future as a leader. Good thing for you, it will never damage your equipment.

Reward:

  • Experience: 8,000
  • Gold: 70,000
  • Item: Ashen Crystal x20

11.Precious Metals Edit

I have been researching the world outside Antillia with great interest lately. You would scarcely believe the power a concept like money has over your organic kin. Unfortunately, I was not programmed with any sort of ore expertise, nor do I see the need to acquire small shiny objects in order to create perceived value. ~ You may well find yourself with a large sum of gold as you travel, and I would hate to see your flesh perforated for your ignorance of its importance to others. That is why I would like you to deposit 1,000 gold pieces at the Bank in town.

Mission: Deposit 1,000 Gold in bank

~

The bank is your friend. Use it wisely.

Reward:

  • Experience: 8,000
  • Gold: 70,000

12.A Place Long Forgotten Edit

While you were at the bank, I ran several simulations of a battle between you and Riederan. The results were not optimal. ~ I have formulated a plan to improve your projected success rate. Head east. You will find a visually attractive pair of androids named Eris and Loris near the Forgotten Valley Outpost.

Mission: My Name Is Eris from Little Eris

~

Are you stronger now? I can never tell.

Reward:

  • Experience: 8,000
  • Gold: 10,000

13.Fatigue Recovery Edit

Eris notified me of your progress. The loss of Akademeia's munitions is most unfortunate. ~ But I understand that organic entities require rest after a long journey. We will resume this conversation when you are well rested.

Mission: Fully heal your characters.

~

While you were resting, I ran several thousand more simulations of a battle between you and Riederan.

Reward:

  • Experience: 70,000
  • Gold: 100,000
  • Item: Insect's Weapon Box x3

14.Oriharukon Edit

You are just not strong enough to fight Riederan. We are running out of time. We must resort to drastic measures. You will have to travel to the past and undo each and every atrocious act committed by Riederan. There is no other option. ~ Creating a rift to the past will require immense power. So much, in fact, that you will require a special high-density form of Oriharukon. Go west of Antillia, to the Imperial Machine Factory to begin your search.

Mission: High-Density Oriharukon x1

This should prove sufficiently powerful, as long as the blast doesn't kill you.

Reward:

  • Experience: 200,000
  • Gold: 200,000

15.The Power of Salvation Edit

Prepare yourself for this warp. Atlantis lies in your fragile hands. ~ Make sure your health is full before you attempt to enter the warp. It will not be a pleasant experience, from the data I have gathered.

Mission: Fully heal your characters.

~

Everything is ready.

Reward:

  • Experience: 300,000
  • Gold: 4,000,000
  • Item: Oracle Summon Papyrus (No Trade) x1

16.The Warrior's Path Edit

The time for Atlantis to rise is at hand. I would say that I was excited, but your success will most likely remove me from existence. ~ A small price to pay for the legacy to live anew. Find a hermit named Aiman in the desert. Tales of his helpful nature have been passed down through our memory banks.

Mission: Talk to Aiman

~

Be ready, and good luck.

Reward:

  • Experience: 20,000
  • Gold: 2,000,000
  • Item: Mercenary Celebration Box x1
